NATURAL, HANDMADE SOAP
The moisturizing benefits of natural soap are absolutely wonderful! I've researched several brands and decided to feature my 3 faves!
--Sweet Harvest Farms offers a wide selection of homemade soap made from the purist ingredients. Owner Cynthia Young-Jennings makes them by hand, and they are huge bars...approximately 6 oz.  (no skimpy bars here). I absolutely love their Citrus Medley ($6 per bar) which contains superb moisturizers shea butter and flaxseed oil with crushed rose hips, juniper berries and a delicate mix of apple and orange. The result? An amazingly clean and fresh scent that will not only leave your skin soft but fragrance your room as well! www.sweetharvestfarms.com
---California-based Simply Soap has been around since 1994. And owner Carol Ochs offers her customers an extensive selection of handcrafted soap. Try the Wylde Jasmine and Orange Blossom Faerie ($7). The lovely fragrance is reminiscent of a leisurely walk through a floral garden. Ochs is an artist and you will find her wonderful artwork displayed on the labels. --Besem Natural Scents offers soap that is loaded with shea and cocoa butters and also ultra moisturizing oils, which help produce a fabulous lather. The soap is made the old-fashioned way, cut into hefty sized chunks so that they will last longer. Try the Unscented Honey & Oats bar. Exfoliating oatmeal and soothing honey make this a great choice for a guy or gal. And 10% of profits are donated to orphan relief. www.besemnaturalscents.com
