Writing has always been a great passion of mine. Growing up in South Carolina, I knew that I wanted a career in Journalism.

During my senior year at Gardner-Webb University, I was given the opportunity to intern for The Montel Williams Show. The three months spent working as an intern was awesome and I knew instantly that this was something I could see myself doing long-term.

Upon graduating from college in 2001, I made the big move to New York City to pursue my career after being offered a full-time job. I was so fortunate to have the loving support of my mom and dad. And I know they spent countless days and nights worrying about their little girl in the big city. But they knew it was time....and only wished the best for me. Thanks guys! I wouldn't be where I am today without you both.

Since then, my life has been one wonderful, exciting journey. My career has afforded me the opportunity to meet so many great people along the way. From my experience booking shows for
The Montel Williams Show to working as a research editor for Star magazine...it has been a definite learning experience.

Why launch a healthy lifestyles magazine you may ask? Well, I'm not a vegetarian....not by a long shot! Nor do I consider myself a health food fanatic. It's quite simple. I believe it only takes small steps/changes to make a difference.

For example, I know from experience that only organic, all-natural skincare works best for my sensitive skin. We can each make small changes in our quest for healthier lifestyles and saving our planet. Things such as recycling really do make a big difference.

When I'm not traveling and researching the best in all-natural products to include in MY LifeStyle, I work as a freelancer for entertainment magazine   In Touch Weekly.
So, it is with great pleasure that I bring you my latest passion...MY LifeStyle.

Enjoy!
